Tiramisadness blends electronic textures with lush, immersive acoustic elements, creating a fluid soundworld reminiscent of cinematic and digital atmospheres. Using synthesizers, voice, and drums, she crafts songs that fit both intimate settings as well as bigger late-night stages. Drawing subtle inspiration from artists such as Genevieve Artadi, Flanafi, and Salami Rose Joe Louis, her music explores a unique sonic identity that feels both contemporary and still personal. Ultimately leaving enough space for the listener‘s imagination to unfold.

Pet Owner: In a handstand, perspective is key. The room remains unchanged, but people appear to alter. In reality, after a brief period, everything returns to normal. Childhood, weightlessness, and human flaws are reflected through the harmonious blend of electronic synths, folk guitar riffs, and gentle beats, all underpinned by a velvety vocal. Deli Girls is an emotionally charged dance punk project based in Brooklyn, NY, currently comprised of vocalist Danny Orlowski and DJ/producer Hatechild (head necromancer at Melting Point). The two are connected since over a decade in the NYC underground, and known for hardcore dance mosh pits, ongoing fund-raving efforts as well as their unforgivingly anti-establishment, queer freak values.

Following Tzu-Ni’s invitation to perform at this year’s LUFF – Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival, we are presenting her sound work as part of a small Swiss tour with Daniel Maszkowicz, Mehmet Ali Simayli and Miao Zhao.

Tzu-Ni is a Taiwanese sound and installation artist based in the Netherlands. Through multichannel installations, field recordings and text, she explores the relationships between sound, body, gender and space, creating immersive and dream-like environments.

Daniel Maszkowicz is a Swiss research engineer and sound artist. His project EMC transforms electromagnetic signals, shortwave radio and obsolete laboratory instruments into a sonic laboratory of interference, resonance and interaction.

With her solo noise project MiMi at Capricious, she explores noise as extreme sonic energy and as a medium for the inexpressible – between love, death and the unknown.

Manic Pixxies came together November 2020, no way to really rehearse, no plan and not a proper musical background from everyone. Still, few months later with now a temporary band room, “Dream Girl” was born. Half the band did not know one another prior to being called to join Manic Pixxies. This way our friendship grew the way the music grew. From raw teen-angst and anger sounds to a group of close friends whose life is sprawled out into these songs. A close friend called our sound “Dream Punk” and it stuck. It’s like a mix of 90’s indie rock, alternative influences and a whole bunch of stuff that might not be completely related but we just like. Through this, we get songs full of raw energy and melodies, that just show the joy and pain of making music and going through life together.

“I know my headphones really well” has been almost 4 years in the making. Some of these songs are truly 4 or 5 years old, now modified and properly played, but with that same banter and soul. The albums name is the best way we could encapsulate the process and what making these songs meant for us (thank you Casey!). You and your headphones have such an intimate relationship, they’ve heard everything you’ve ever wanted to enjoy, hide or dedicate your attention to. Pulling out you headphones to listen to something means you make effort to properly listen. But with different headphones, things are heard slightly differently. Maybe you can feel the sorrow or the excitement 10 fold with the right pair FOR YOU!

The album opens up with effervescent songs like “Blue Carpet”, “Fall to pieces” and “Cl!t" where you can let all that pent up energy go and then wraps their arms around you like a comforting friend with the longing felt in songs like “Snowfall”, “Virgin Records” and “Winter”. To properly experience it, you do need, to know your headphones really well.

The Berlin quartet is virtually incomparable to any other German post-punk band. Never kitschy, consistently danceable, icy-cold and surfy at the same time. German lyrics, delivered inimitably in back-and-forth, choral, sometimes almost canonical, as if calling to us from a parallel universe. Duel sind zurück! Super-schwerer, abgefahrener Old-School-Stoner-Metal aus Austin, Texas. Leaden Fumes sind eine Schweizer Sludge’n’Doom Band der Melvinschen Sorte. Ihr 2. Album, aufgenommen mit M. Obrist von Zeal & Ardor, erschien bei Sixteentimes Music und erntete – wie das erste Album – gute Kritiken seitens der Presse.

Leaden Fumes bestehen zu 2/3 aus ehemaligen Phased Mitgliedern - der einzigen Schweizer Stoner Band welche bei Elektrohasch (Colour Haze) unter Vertrag stand.

Die Stuttgarter Band Flora klingt, als wäre sie direkt aus der Indie-Szene der späten 80er um Labels wie Sarah Records ins Hier und Jetzt katapultiert worden. Beinahe verschwenderisch schmeißt das Quartett um die namensgebende Sängerin Flora mit makellosen Pop-Songs um sich. So fanden sich bereits auf der 2023 erschiene EP Time Stops Melodien, die sich bei rezeptiven Hörer*innen sofort mit schlafwandlerischer Präzision ins Gedächtnis einbrannten. Vor etwa 30 Jahren haben Bands wie The Ladybug Transistor oder Camera Obscura bereits an einem ähnlich entwaffnenden Popentwurf gearbeitet. Im Frühjahr nächsten Jahres erscheint mit Five Years (Treibender Teppich Records) nun das Debütalbum von Flora, auf dem sie – dieser Traditionslinie folgend – weiter am perfekten Pop-Song feilen.

Eggs is a Parisian indie rock band formed in 2017 by Charles Daneau (guitar, vocals), Grégoire Bayart (drums), Léo Deville (keyboards), and Manolo Freitas (bass). The initial tracks leaned towards jangle pop and lo-fi post-punk, reminiscent of bands like Television Personalities or The Clean. After releasing three EPs between 2018 and 2019, Rémi Studer joined on drums, and Grégoire Bayart switched to guitar. The band's sound evolved to include influences from indie rock bands like The Replacements or Guided by Voices. The group's first album A Glitter Year was released in 2022 with contributions from Margaux Bouchaudon (vocals, guitar) and Camille Fréchoux (saxophone and trumpet) from the band En Attendant Ana. This occasional participation turned into a long-term collaboration. In 2023, Erica Ashleson (vocals) and Cyprien Vandenbussche (saxophone) joined the project. The band released its new album Crafted Achievement in November 2024 with the addition of Côme Ranjard on steel guitar.

The Cradle (lo-fi folk / acoustic / indie)

Paco Cathcart (b. 1992) is a Colombian-American musician and writer from Brooklyn, New York who has performed and recorded under the moniker “The Cradle” since 2013. In that time they have toured extensively in the United States and internationally, and put out 20 or so wildly diverse full-length albums, as well as many more EPs and live tapes, by themself and on various indie labels. Almost entirely self-recorded, the Cradle catalogue reflects a porous, experimental approach to music making and a myriad of influences. As reverent as it is skeptical, Cathcart’s is quintessentially millennial music: syncretic, cyborg, accidentally, inevitably.

Pyrex’s post-apocalyptic punk slithers out of the melting pot that is New York City, nodding to influences ranging from early thrash to Crass Records post-punk and the city’s own storied hardcore lineage. Rooted in the classic acid-damaged sound of Chrome, Pyrex takes notes from disparate influences like Poison Idea, Needles and Crazy Spirit, delivering a rolling boil of punk nihilism with hints of psychedelia simmering beneath. Their latest, Slugman, is four tracks of irate punk fury packed into a taut eight minutes—all toxic sludge and raw nerve spilling in abundance. It’s nasty, unhinged and volatile but won’t leave your turntable for a long while. Approach with caution. (Fred Pessaro)

Traumatizer: This is blistering D-beat with a handful of huge, metallic riffing and a vocalist that eats nails for dessert. There’s a blown-out production that brings to mind Bootlicker’s earlier recordings but where the Lickers line American Hardcore with No Future stomp, Traumatizer goes full tilt into the noize and grips you by the throat. There’s no pogo present, just rage and violence. Toss it on while you take the late-night walk home from the bar. These 6 tracks will make a compelling case that those darting eyes and high hackles in the alleyway are the threat you were worried about. Those focused pupils from an animal whose only option is to take as many of you with them as they can. You didn’t even mean any harm, poor you. But here we are, kill or be killed. Prey or predator. No one gets out alive, we just measure blood loss for points.

Lemongrab (Berlin, DE) is a garage punk 4-piece known for their raw, cathartic live shows and art punk-fuelled studio efforts. Their influences travel from The Stooges’ proto-punk shenanigans all the way to The Clean’s jangly earworms, taking scenic detours for Pylon’s weirdo pop hooks on their way to Bikini Kill’s riot-friendly neighborhood. The group first introduced their patented brand of punk-tinged garage rock by way of elapsed-play, The Ones with the Brooms (2016), and debut full-length, It Doesn’t Sound Good but It Feels Awesome (2019) before relocating from Montréal, QC to Berlin, DE in 2020. Then came The Wet Album (2021), a 6-song essay further embracing their punk ethos, and sophomore full-length I Spy with My Little Eye (2024) via niche tastemakers U-Bac Records. Since forming, Lemongrab have received invitations from Synästhesie Fest (DE), Supersonic Block Party (FR), Jenseits
von Millionen (DE), Sled Island (CA), and POP Montréal (CA), sharing the stage with the likes of L.A. Witch, Broncho, Bodega, Cumgirl8, and Meatbodies. Miki Yui is a Tokyo-born Multi-disciplinary artist and composer based in Düsseldorf, crossing the boundary of music, performance, drawing, and installation. She investigates the grey zone of our perception, between the reality – imaginary. Recently, the field of her work deals with environmental issues. Since 2019 though Flux project, in collaboration with Nathalia Favaro, they create occasionally a space to reconnect with the environment as well as with ourselves.
“Miki Yui´s creations emulate nature´s own structures, and they go well beyond trying, they succeed where others fail. Her music is not a river, in fact it overflows in all directions imaginable, and it seems like the sounds and their interaction describe a kind of natural evolution. Rawhead Comes Alive hat sich seit Ende 2024 in St. Louis neuformiert, nachdem das "Monster aus dem Untergrund" über 30 Jahre von der Bildfläche verschwunden war. Der Psychedelic Underground Farout Jazz, der in Form von Instantkompositionen entsteht, erinnert manchmal frappierend an Horrorfilmmusik. Es sind mäandernde Soundeskapaden, die mittels Keyboards, E-Gitarre, E-Bass und einem pulsierenden Schlagzeug das Publikum berauschen.

holt Dynamit! Brezel Göring ( von STEREO TOTAL) und CUTECUMBER aus Basel.

Sie ist da! Die neue Scheibe, auf die wir alle so sehnsüchtig gewartet haben! Friedhof der Moral kommt von keinem geringerem als Brezel Göring! Brezel Göring – die Grand Dame des Berliner Chansons bzw. des Chansons Kaputt, die funkelnde Punkprinzessin Kreuzbergs, die mit Glamour und anarchistischem Humor wie eine Flipperkugel an jeder musikalischen Erwartungshaltung abprallt – wechselt spielerisch und meisterhaft zwischen unzähligen Genres und saust ungebremst von einer Attraktion zur nächsten! Wo auf dem Vorgängeralbum Psychoanalyse Volume 2 Fragenzeichen den Plattenrücken zierten, müssten es hier eigentlich Ausrufezeichen tun, denn die Platte hat Schmiss, ist mitreißend, temporeich, macht gute Laune, ist sehr verspielt und extrem facettenreich. Vor allem ist sie extrem. Thematisch, lyrisch und musikalisch. Es finden sich Referenzen zu Klassik, japanischen Blues, Diskomusik, Punk, Hiphop und natürlich französischen Chansons. Friedhof der Moral ist ein musikalisches Feuerwerk, sprachgewaltig, voller filmischer Kurzszenen und bringt unsere Synapsen zum Glühen. Begeistert begeben wir uns auf die rasante Reise ins musikalische Universum von Brezel Göring – es ist eine unbändige, wilde und grenzenlose Reise. Gleich zu Beginn fliegen wir durchs All, durchqueren das komplette Planetensystem, fahren später über Italien, Frankreich und Griechenland direkt nach Tschernobyl, machen Halt im Stundenhotel, bleiben doch lieber in Berlin, schwanken die (Kreuzberger) Oranienstraße lang und treben an der Straßenecke auf den Frühling, um dann wie ein Ufo über dieser beschissenen Stadt zu kreisen und schließlich setzt sich die Reise düster und melancholisch ins Jenseits fort … Es ist eine sehnsüchtige, sanfte Note, mit der die Platte endet und mit lieblichen Melodien und zartem Gesang ein Abschiedslied an Françoise Cactus erklingt. So sind Einsamkeit, Dunkelheit, Sehnsucht und Tod auch bei diesen 13 Stücken stets wiederkehrende Motive und es gibt erneut einiges zu berichten aus der Themenwelt der Psychoanalyse: es geht um Obsessionen, Drogen, zwischenmenschliche Probleme, Trennungen, Vergangenheit und Aussichtslosigkeit. Die Texte sind tiefgründig und abgründig, dabei aber zuverlässig kurzweilig, poetisch, rabiniert, originell und wahnsinnig lustig. Wir treben auf Feuerlöscher, Fast Food, Flipperautomaten, fantastische Fahrzeuge, sind sexuell aufgeladen, verzeihen nie und begraben schlussendlich unsere Moral.
Brezel Göring bleibt sich treu und erfindet sich doch neu. Und er hat sich Mitreisende an Bord geholt bei Friedhof der Moral. Seine Band Psychoanalyse ist eine illustre Truppe an ständig wechselnden Musiker:innen und Sänger:innen, die mit ihren ungewöhnlichen Klängen und Stimmen die Platte bereichern.
